Elisabeth Pössnecker

Elisabeth earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Biosciences from the University of Würzburg, Germany. She is a PhD student in the lab, following the International PhD Program in Biomedicine. Elisabeth is interested in understanding the influence of gut microbiome on host diseases, such as MS. To investigate the crosstalk between gut microbiome and immune cells, she is combining high-dimensional flow cytometry with single cell technologies on human immune cells and gnotobiotic model systems.
