Laila Kulsvehagen
Laila completed her undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at Philipps University of Marburg and obtained her Master’s degree in Neuroscience at the University of Amsterdam. She earned her doctoral degree in the Pröbstel lab, where she combined various methodologies, including cell-based assays and single-cell RNA sequencing technologies, to investigate the pathogenic role of B cells in autoimmune disorders.
From October 2024-April 2025, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher in the lab. Her research focused on the transcriptomic features of B cells in patients with MOGAD and the cross-reactive potential of the patient-derived antibodies she generated during her doctoral work.
